Vauxhall Insignia honoured at Company Car Today awards for third year running

VAUXHALL INSIGNIA

Vauxhall is once again celebrating prestigious accolades received for the Insignia, which has been named Upper Medium Car of the Year for the third year in a row at Company Car Today’s CCT100 Awards.

The CCT100 Awards by Company Car Today are the UK’s only product-focussed fleet awards, allowing for the best products from the industry to be showcased to UK fleets. Judges on the awards panel recognise the ultimate company cars available to fleet decision-makers and company car drivers.

“Retaining this award to make it a hat-trick of CCT100 Upper Medium Car of the Year victories clearly illustrates the excellence of the Insignia in the Company Car Sector,” said Paul Barker, Company Car Today Editor. “It is stylish, very well priced and offers good equipment levels for drivers. What’s more, low running costs make for a happy fleet manager or finance director.”

The CCT100 is Company Car Today’s definitive list of the 100 cars that can fulfil any business car requirement. A shortlist containing the top five cars in each category is assessed across 12 key factors that make an excellent company car, including emissions, price, running costs, company car tax, practicality, desirability and the driving experience.

In addition to its previous two titles as CCT100 Upper Medium Car of the Year, the Insignia has been previously recognised at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards, named Private Hire Car of the Year by Professional Driver, elected Most Dependable in Class at J.D. Power Awards and also featured heavily in the Auto Express New Car Awards as Family Car of the Year.

Vauxhall hopes to continue its winning run when the new Insignia goes on sale next month. It consumes up to 18 per cent less fuel than the outgoing model thanks to powerful high-efficiency engines, with CO2 emissions as low as 100g/km on the NEDC cycle. A new top-of-the-range GSi model also joins the range.
