Despite the chaos of the 2018 Suzuki All-Star 125 race, the event returned for another running, with five British Superbike regulars competing on identically prepared GSX-R125s for mostly pride and little else.
Again hosted on the kart circuit at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Buildbase Suzuki’s Bradley Ray, Luke Stapleford, and last year’s winner Richard Cooper were joined on the grid by OMG Racing Suzuki’s Billy McConnell and Josh Elliott, with three-time British Superbike champion John Reynolds employed as race direction after 2018’s lawless affair.
Nevertheless, the event wasn’t short of desperate lunges, fairing-bashing, and grass-tracking as the riders contested every inch of asphalt in a bid for glory.
