The New Year is getting off to a great start for Opel customers. The German carmaker is now offering extensively equipped “Opel 2020” special models, in addition to the regular trims. The offer starts with the Opel Grandland X and Opel Crossland X SUVs and the new Opel Astra that has been available since last November. The successful models can now be ordered as “Opel 2020” variants with numerous safety, comfort and design features. Each special model is complemented by individually tailored “Opel 2020” packs that bundle additional high-quality equipment for every need. In this way, customers can save money compared to a model with comparable individual options.
“Opel 2020” special models: with camera systems, AGR seats and more
For example, the Opel Grandland X as “Edition” variant already offers as standard assistance systems such as cruise control with intelligent speed limiter, lane keep assist and traffic sign recognition at an entry-level price of €27,500 (all prices including VAT in Germany). The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible Radio R 4.0 IntelliLink infotainment system, including a seven-inch colour touchscreen, is installed in every Grandland X. The “Opel 2020” special model, which can be ordered from €29,315, also enables easy manoeuvring with front and rear park pilot and rear view camera. In poor visibility, fog lights further increase safety, while tinted Solar Protect glass protects the interior from strong sunlight and prying eyes. The Grandland X “Opel 2020” also comes with 12-volt sockets in the centre console, in the rear and in the boot. The already elegant looks are further enhanced by 17-inch light-alloy wheels in “Technical Grey”, silver-coloured underbody trim and the use of chrome for the front and rear décor as well as the DLO signature graphic.
As an “Opel 2020” model, the Astra additionally offers a front camera, LED headlights and park pilot at prices starting from €23,300. Also included: the ergonomically certified AGR seat for the driver. The compact class bestsellers as sedan and estate are real eye-catchers with exterior mirror housings in onyx black and silver-coloured roof rails for the Sports Tourer estate.
The Crossland X “Opel 2020” special model draws admiring glances thanks to its high-gloss black B-pillars, silver-coloured underbody trim and 16-inch alloy wheels. The versatile SUV relies entirely on LED technology for the headlights and taillights as well as the ambient lighting in the centre console and the front doors. All for only €21,310.
“Opel 2020” packs: attractive features in practical bundles
In addition, customers can upgrade and customize their “Opel 2020” special model with various packs (and save money at the same time). Excellent value for money is also offered by the “Opel 2020” Innovation Pack, where state-of-the-art lighting technology meets top-of-the-line infotainment at a price that is several hundred euros lower than for comparable individual options. For the two Opel SUVs, this means the combination of Navi 5.0 IntelliLink and LED headlights with cornering lights (Crossland X: €1,900) or with adaptive AFL LED headlights (Grandland X: €2,100). On the Astra, the adaptive IntelliLux LED® matrix light ensures optimum night-time vision.
