Indian Motorcycle ‘Flat Track Nationals’ Championship prizegiving ceremony celebrates last year’s winners and DTRA UK race calendar released for 2020.

Following the announcement of the ‘Indian Motorcycle European Flat Track Series’ earlier this month; more than 200 DTRA championship riders aged 7 to 65 and their families gathered for an awards presentation at Krazy Horse Farm House in Oxfordshire to celebrate the final standings from 2019’s go-fast, turn-left race action.

Hooligan riders Leah Tokelove (#37) and Lee Kirkpatrick (#152) joined the party to collect well deserved 2nd and 3rd places respectively, after a hard-fought 2019 championship battle which saw them swapping between Krazy Horse prepared Indian Scouts and all-new S&S Cycle built FTR 1200 machines mid-season.

Indian Motorcycle’s continued partnership with the Dirt Track Riders Association helps to ensure the future of grassroots motorcycle sport and the development of youth riders. The UK Flat Track Nationals have grown substantially in the last few years, to become regarded as one of the most accessible and respected entry points to the sport outside North America, with young riders from France and Spain regularly joining the entry list.

Registrations for all classes to the UK Nationals series are now open and close just before the first meeting. Full rules can be found on the DTRA website (Link to registration via DTRA: www.dirttrackriders.co.uk). 2019 results and the full 2020 series dates are shown below.
